Edmonton Oilers Advent Calendar for Game Day Countdowns
The Edmonton Oilers Advent Calendar Full Box Christmas Gifts opens with a deep royal blue cover, crossed by a bold orange stripe and scattered with white snowflakes. At the center sits the team crest, and below it the words “24 DAYS OF HOCKEY PASSION” and “LET’S GO OILERS” run across the front. A gold nameplate marked with a placeholder line waits to be filled. This is a 24-compartment blind box countdown built for Oilers fans, collectors, and families who want a little hockey ritual on every December morning.
Royal Blue and Orange on the Box Front
The box artwork leans on the Oilers’ signature pairing of royal blue and orange, with white snowflakes drifting over the crest and a printed arena scene filling the lower half of the cover. The spine repeats the title vertically in white type against blue, so the calendar reads clearly whether it sits face out on a shelf or stacked with other gifts. On the tray side, the charm lineup runs in four rows of six. The first eighteen charms show hockey players in blue and orange uniforms, each labeled with a name, number, and position. The final row shifts away from the roster and into broader team touchstones, including a coach, a mascot, a team logo, an arena, a trophy, and hockey equipment. Printed text on the box and the nameplate can be personalized with a name.
One Charm Behind Each Compartment
Starting on December 1, you open a single compartment and lift out the flat charm waiting inside. Each of the 24 compartments holds one charm, so the countdown carries you straight through to Christmas Eve without any early reveals. Once a charm is out, thread one of the included strings through it and hang it on the tree. When the season ends, the full set goes back into the tray and comes out again the following year.
What You Get in the Box
The printed paper box measures 26 cm tall by 18 cm wide by 3 cm deep. Inside, a clear blister tray holds 24 individual compartments, one charm per slot. Each charm is 3 mm thick with UV printing on both sides, so the artwork reads on the front and the back. Hanging strings come in 3 styles. The box artwork is customizable, including patterns, illustrations, and names.
Countdown Ideas for Oilers Households
- December mornings before school or work give everyone a reason to gather at the box and see which charm turns up next.
- Tree decorating night pairs well with the countdown, since each new charm can go straight onto a branch.
- Game day watch parties let you open that day’s compartment together before puck drop.
- A desk or locker countdown keeps the ritual going at work, in a classroom, or in a fan corner at home.
Ways to Show the Charms
- Hang the revealed charms on the Christmas tree using the included strings, spacing the blue and orange pieces among your other ornaments.
- Return the full set to the clear tray and stand it on a mantel or shelf as a compact display.
- Thread a few charms into a wreath or garland for a hockey touch on the front door.
- Group the coach, mascot, arena, and trophy charms together on a desk or in a fan cave as a small tribute row.
A Gift for the Oilers Fan in Your Life
This countdown suits an Oilers supporter, a hockey household, or anyone who follows the team through the winter. It works as a Christmas gift, a birthday present, or a Secret Santa pick for a colleague who never misses a game. If you know someone who would enjoy opening a new charm each morning, this calendar is a simple way to make the season last all December.
